This wonderful resource, located in the T.W. Historical Research Center has the ability many possibilities. It digitizes books, A2 newspapers and large format documents (certificates, drawings, maps). Automatic opening of the glass plate after scanning.

Register of Deeds

The Terry Wantz Historical Research Center and the Newaygo County Register of Deeds have formed a cooperative partnership that makes it easier to access county land records through genealogical ties when one is unsure of where or how to begin looking for them.

Books at the Center

Our Center has endless resources from books, both biographical and autobiographical. More specifically, you can find local autobiographical books on the subject of local railroads, post offices, lumbering and Fremont beginnings of 1850 to 1920. Along with books, there are over 2,000 + digital files in the centers archives, too.
